The Area currently has 97 certified AMIAS. Of those 105 AMIAS\, 73 still have to renew their certifications through me (again as of February 1\, 2024.) Al-Anon members with two years of recovery may take a three-hour training over Zoom to become an AMIAS on February 10th at 9 AM\, March 16 at 9 AM\, May 4 at 9 AM or June 8 at 9 AM. Existing AMIAS may renew their certifications through three-hour Zoom sessions on February 10 at 1:00 PM\, March 16 at 1:00 PM\, May 4 at 1:00 PM or June 8th at 1:00 PM. These AMIAS training sessions will also be announced on the Area website and on the WA-AMIAS mailing list. DESCRIPTION:AMIAS CERTIFICATION: The Al-Anon Member Involved in Alateen Service (AMIAS) Certification renewal window opened on January 15th\, 2024 and will remain open through June 15th\, 2024. The Area currently has 97 certified AMIAS. Of those 105 AMIAS\, 73 still have to renew their certifications through me (again as of February 1\, 2024.) Al-Anon members with two years of recovery may take a three-hour training over Zoom to become an AMIAS on February 10th at 9 AM\, March 16 at 9 AM\, May 4 at 9 AM or June 8 at 9 AM. Existing AMIAS may renew their certifications through three-hour Zoom sessions on February 10 at 1:00 PM\, March 16 at 1:00 PM\, May 4 at 1:00 PM or June 8th at 1:00 PM. Please contact Michael S at alateen-safety@wa-al-anon.org to be added to an AMIAS training session.
