DESCRIPTION:Al-Anon Members Involved in Alateen Service — better known by their acronym AMIAS — are members of Al-Anon who provide guidance and support to Alateens at meetings and events. Every Alateen meeting requires the presence of at least two AMIAS. AMIAS are required to have two years in Al-Anon\, required to take a three-hour training class every two years\, and pass a background check every year. \nPlease consider serving our Alateens by attending a training session to become as AMIAS.
